I built this pack for a nightclub that opened the day Britain locked down.
Opening night was Good Friday, 2020. I'd poured my savings, and about a year of my life, into getting every last thing right: the licence, the policies, the playbook, the fire safety I cared about so much I qualified as a fire warden to get it spot on. Then the country shut, and the doors never opened.
A few years on, I looked at that mountain of work and realised it didn't have to be wasted. Every venue jumps the same hoops I did. So I turned my heartbreak into the thing I wish I could have bought for a couple of hundred quid instead of finding out what a late-licence solicitor costs. That's Lights On.
It's honest, it's thorough, and it's written like a mate who's been through it, not a lawyer billing by the hour.
